This may not be the right place for my question, so apologies in advance.

I'm looking at using the Chronocontroller with a belt-driven slider powered by a geared stepper motor.

The motor has a 4-pin connector and I'm wondering how it might be connected to & controlled by the Chronocontroller. At the moment I'm using an eMotimo TB3, but there are times when the extra axis of movement aren't needed. I also want to get the camera lower and more stable than is possible with the TB3.

Is the Chronocontroller going to do what I'm looking for? Everything I've read suggests it will.

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob, sorry for the delay we have been swamped trying to get the lens apparatus ready for kickstarter.

Yes, the chronocontroller CAN use that motor, and it would work quite well. I would have to build an adapter cable which i have done before and it would plug right in :)

right now we are in between circuit designs, with any luck in the next 2 weeks we will be producing controllers again

Thanks for the reply Chris. I'll be ordering a controller, and a couple of adapter cables.

Will you have a link to the kickstarter project once it's launched?
