It sure is!
A few weeks back i released Chronotimer 1.3.4, which does include this functionality, here is an excerpt....
2) Endless Shooting.
I do a lot of my work in Live Ramping, which will continue to fire indefinitely unless stopped.
SGO will pass the shutter through the controller, so even after the apparatus is done with its routine the camera can still be triggered.
However, if you are using the Chronocontroller as the main timing source, and you setup a 200 shot lead in, with a 60 frame focus or zoom adjustment, when it is done it is done. There were no Lead-Outs that could be done.
Endless shooting fixes that, and allows shooters to use the Controller as the primary timing source and will allow shooting after the routine has finished
A quick revisit to DEL. WHen using DEL you are setting a delay before the system runs its movements.
if you have a SHOT of 500, with a DEL of 300, then for shots 1-300 the system will not move. All movement will happen between shots 301 through 500.
TO access the Endless Shooting you simply move to DEL, and press <- and ->
E ON = Endless shooting ON
E OFF (default) = Endless Shooting OFF.
You may remember, this used to have PASS and BLOC instead, which would allow you to pass an external shutter signal into the controller and out to the camera even if the controller was not running a routine. This PASS/BLOC is also adjustable as a default in the Calibration Menu accessed by going to POS and pressing <- and SET at the same time. It seeed redundant to have it in two locations, and i have never found the need to turn PASS off. So it is now only accessable through the Calibration Menu. The default is always ON.
So with this in mind, if you have the 1.3.4 code you would setup as follows.
1) Setup the Keyframes using the normal procedure
2) Set the SHOT count to 90 (60 frame lead in + 30 frame focus ramp)
3) Set DEL to 60
4) While the Mode dial is in DEL, press <- or ->, you want it to display E ON.
5) Start the routine.
You will see it do nothing for the first 60 frames, it will just trigger the camera.
frames 61-90 will adjust the focus
Frames 91+ will just trigger the camera. It will continue this indefinitely.
