Hi !

excuse my english i'm french.
I would like to ask you some questions :

is the chonoproject can use differents speeds during a time lapse ? (up speed or down speed)
Is it possible to make shoot-move-shoot-move etc... (for time lapse by night).
Is there an intervallometer inside the chronoprojet for taking pictures X seconds or X minutes ?
How many motors can we connected to the chronoprojet ? May be i will add a rotate motor in the futur.
Is it better or no or the same thing as the MX2 controller by DP ?
Is there a picture or a web page which explain the differents fonctions of chronoproject ? I saw the video but it's not easy for me to understand everything in english.

Thank you very much.

GOod afternoon! :)

is the chonoproject can use differents speeds during a time lapse ? (up speed or down speed)

---Depends, the Chronocontroller is designed to work with SHoot-Move-Shoot, and with this it has the ability to ramp up the distance moved between each shot. The resulting video appears to have the speed ramping up and down, however it does NOT support ramped movement inCOntinuous mode, only shoot-move shoot

Is it possible to make shoot-move-shoot-move etc... (for time lapse by night).

---Yes, it is capable of doing COntinuous, but it is primarily setup for Shoot Move Shoot.

Is there an intervallometer inside the chronoprojet for taking pictures X seconds or X minutes ?

---Yes

How many motors can we connected to the chronoprojet ? May be i will add a rotate motor in the futur.

---The current Chronocontroller is capable of running a single Stepper motor, multiple Chronocontrollers can be Synced together for multiaxis movement. We are working on a controller that will control 4 axis, but we do not know when it will be ready.

Is it better or no or the same thing as the MX2 controller by DP ?

---I think it is better, it is a very easy controller to use with lots of capability, it is extremely fast to setup. Keep in mind, the MX2 controller is built for DC motors not steppers

Is there a picture or a web page which explain the differents fonctions of chronoproject ? I saw the video but it's not easy for me to understand everything in english.

Unofrtunalty all i have this this website, however there is an instruction manual that can be found here....

i don't really understand sorry. Does it mean that i need two chrono controllers to have two axis ? Because i want a double axis controller.

Hello Chris,
Sorry for threadjacking to original poster but I didn't want to start a new thread.

I too have some very basic or newbie questions. I am technically bent in general but never was into electronics or build anything of mechanical nature myself.
So here I found myself after a bit of googling on DIY Timelapse slider.

I have a few questions. Would be really kind of you to clarify my idiotic doubts.

1. Is the system supposed to work with IGUS' rail (tbh, i don't know too much about it either)? Can any ordinary slider work with this system? I am asking because I'm from India and will be hard to find it here.
There maybe locally produced video sliders available.
2. I am actually quite confused (call me stupid) on where exactly to start with. Lets say I bought one of Pre-made ChronoController. So what other parts and constructions will be needed to make it work with the slider?
